Ogden's 2013 Holiday Electric Light Parade

Sundance will be lit up with a staggering 120 bicycle tail lights for the Holiday Electric Light Parade on November 30th, 2013.  This will be an increase of 45 bicycle lights over the 75 lights that Sundance was lit up with in the 2012 Holiday Parade.

New Sundance trading cards

Sundance trading cards #25 and #26 have now been created.  They will be given out at events where Ron and Sundance are performing.  These new cards are improved and have a UV coating and color on the back side of the card as well as the front.

Ogden's 2012 Holiday Electric Light Parade

Ogden's annual Holiday Electric Light Parade will be be held on Saturday, November 24th, 2012 at 5:30 p.m.  Sundance will be lit up with over 75 bicycle tail lights, numerous stuffed animals and real sleigh bells.  This will be the 14th Holiday Electric Light Parade that Ron and Sundance have participated in together.

Harvest Moon Festival

Ron and Sundance will be performing at the Harvest Moon Festival on Saturday afternoon Sept. 22nd, 2012 following the Ogden Farmer's Market.  Don't forget to get a new Sundance trading card when you come up to pet Sundance on his nose.

75th Force Support Squadron Picnic

Children at the picnic waited patiently in line for their chance to meet Sundance, get a trading card and ride Sundance in the park.  Sundance kept this up for nearly 4 hours so as not to disappoint any child who had waited in line for their turn.  A special moment occurred when a blind child came up to pet Sundance on his nose.  Sundance is a very special horse who seems to know when a child with special needs comes up to meet him.

75th Force Support Squadron Picnic

Ron and Sundance will be performing at the 75th Force Support Squadron Picnic at Hill Air Force Base, Utah on Friday, August 3rd, from 1700 to 1900 hrs. 

Pioneer Days Horse and Hitch Parade

Sundance danced the entire parade route in the rain to the delight of the hardy children who braved the elements.  I temporarily changed his name to Raindance for the parade.  Sundance was wearing Easyboot Glove boots on his unshod front hooves to protect them from too much wear and they worked great, giving him extremely good traction on the wet pavement

Ogden Pioneer Days July 24th Parade

Ron and Sundance will be performing as parade entry #41 in the Ogden Pioneer Days Parade that starts at 9:00 am on Tuesday, July 24th.  This is Ogden's largest and best parade of the year and celebrates our western and Utah heritage.  There will be lots of floats, rodeo queens, classic cars, marching bands and horses.

Special Kids Rodeo

Ron and Sundance will be entertaining children with special needs during the kids rodeo on Tuesday, July 17th at 5:00 PM. at Lorin Farr Park.  Numerous people volunteer during this Ogden  Pioneer Days event to bring smiles to the faces of these special children.

Horse and Hitch Parade

Ron and Sundance will entertain you as they dance their way along the parade route in downtown Ogden on Monday,July 16th at 7:00 PM.  Ron will be handing out one of Sundance's newest trading cards in the largest horse and hitch parade in Utah.

Ogden Farmer's Market

Ron and Sundance will be performing at Ogden Farmer's Market beginning Saturday,July 14th for the entire summer.  Come down to see Sundance dance and  play soccer.  You can also brush his teeth, play ball with him or pet him on his nose and collect one of his 24 trading cards.  You are welcome to have your parents take a picture of you with Sundance while you are having fun.  Ron and Sundance will be glad to see you there!

July 4th Layton Liberty Days Parade

Ron and Sundance will be dancing the parade route again this year in the Layton Liberty Days Parade which starts at 1000 E Gentile at 10:30 am on July 4th.

South Ogden Days Parade 2012

Ron and Sundance will be performing and handing out Sundance trading cards in the parade starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, 6-23-12.  The parade begins at the new South Jr. High School at 650 E Valley Drive.

Sundance at Ogden's Bravest and Finest event and Ogden Art Festival

Ron and Sundance attended Ogden's Bravest and Finest event for the recovering Ogden police officers.  They also performed for the children at the Ogden Art Festival on Historic 25th Street.  Ron gave out Sundance's newest trading card which is in honor of fallen officer Jared Francom.

NUCGS Donation Drive for the Recovering Officers

On Saturday, Feb. 4th, 2012, I will be taking Sundance down to the  NUCGS event in the 300 blk. 25th St. The event runs from 10am till 4pm but Sundance will be there starting at 12 noon and will be there for at least several hours.  I will be giving out Sundance's new trading card #24 which honors the memory of Agent Jared Francom who was ambushed and shot on Jan 4th 2012 along with five other officers.  Parents will also be able to put their children on Sundance to take pictures.  Donations will be accepted for the recovering officers.
